Privacy Policy
How Plankar collects, uses and protects your information.

1. Scope
This policy covers the Plankar app, published by Peshawa Group, which employees use to manage tasks, leave requests, announcements, and support tickets with their organization. It applies wherever Plankar runs — phone or tablet, Android or iOS.
3. How we use it
To authenticate you and keep your session secure; to run the features you use (tasks, leave, announcements, the help center); to send push notifications for things that need your attention; to respond to support tickets you submit; and to remember your language and theme between sessions.
4. What we don't do
Plankar has no advertising or analytics SDKs and doesn't sell or trade data. The app never accesses your camera, contacts, microphone, precise location, advertising ID, or other apps' data. Profile photos are chosen from your photo library only — the app never uses the camera to take one for you.
5. Sharing
Plankar is an internal tool: information you enter is visible to your own organization's relevant HR staff and administrators, the same way it would be in a physical HR office. We don't share your data with outside advertisers or data brokers. Google Sign-In shares only your basic Google account profile with us, governed by Google's own privacy policy for that step.
6. Retention
We keep your account and HR records for as long as your account is active with your organization. If you leave your organization or request deletion, we remove your account data within a reasonable period, except where a record must be kept to meet a legal or accounting obligation.
8. Children
Plankar is a workplace tool for employees and is not directed to, or knowingly used by, children under 16.
9. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS. Sessions use short-lived bearer tokens rather than storing your password on the device, and passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above and let you know inside the app.
2. What we collect
Account information
Your name, email address, phone number, and a profile photo if you choose to add one. If you sign up directly we store a hashed password; if you use Google Sign-In we receive your basic Google profile and never see a password.
The HR content you create
Personal and organization tasks, leave requests and their status, support tickets you submit (plus an optional email or phone number you add to a ticket), and any comments or likes you leave on announcements.
Device & notifications
A push-notification token issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging, so we can deliver alerts about your tasks, leave approvals, and announcements. We ask permission before sending anything.
On-device preferences
Your chosen language and theme, and a local cache of your recent notifications — kept only in the app's storage on your device, and cleared when you sign out.
7. Your choices
- Edit your name and photo any time from Settings → Edit Profile.
- Change or set your password from Settings → Change Password.
- Switch language or theme instantly from Settings — no restart needed.
- Turn off push notifications from your device's system settings.
- Delete your account and data at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
